Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Sunset Neighborhood Association - Building community, connection, and unity in Boise’s Sunset Neighborhood

Come to a Monthly Meeting to get involved in our community, and connect with your neighbors!

Monthly neighborhood meetings are regularly held the second Tuesday of each odd-numbered month (January, March, May, July, September, and November) from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

Our Annual Meeting is the second Tuesday of October each year from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Lowell Elementary School.

From May through September, Montly Meetings are held at the Sunset Park picnic shelter. From October through March, we meet at the Lowell Elementary School Library.

Any member of the Association is welcome to suggest items for the meeting agenda. Simply submit your suggestion in writing to any Board member before the next agenda is posted or email us here!

Our Mission

The Sunset Neighborhood Association (SNA) is a volunteer-led group of neighbors working together to build community, connection, and unity in north Boise's Sunset Neighborhood. Our neighborhood centers around beautiful Sunset Park and stretches from 28th to 36th Streets, between State Street and Hill Road.

Unlike a homeowners association, the SNA does not create or enforce rules. Instead, we focus on building community, sharing information, and supporting local improvement efforts.

The City of Boise partners with neighborhood associations like ours to help shape the future of each area and provide funding for community-led projects — from beautification and safety improvements to events that bring neighbors together.

Get Involved

Come to the next Monthly Meeting to meet your neighbors and learn more about what's going on in our neighborhood!

Volunteer opportunities are open to everyone and include neighborhood events, fundraising, community projects, youth internships, or serving as a member of the Board. Everyone is welcome to volunteer and participate.

We’d love to see you at a meeting and welcome your ideas, energy, and help in making our neighborhood even better. Board membership and voting at meetings is reserved for members who live or work in Sunset. Together, we are building a more vibrant neighborhood!
